Hello my name’s Alan.

I am a senior technician with Indesit company. I have over fifteen years experience helping customers with their tumble dryers. At Indesit Company we design and manufacture our appliances to provide many trouble free years of service to our customers, but there also a few things you can do yourself to help ensure your appliance operates to its full potential or to help resolve any common user issues.

This film covers how to deal with cleaning the condenser on your condenser tumble dryer.

How you will know there’s a problem: your appliance is not drying or taking a long time to dry – the issue is usually caused by a filter that needs cleaning or a condenser blocked with fluff.

What you will need to rectify the issue: you won’t need any tools, it’s a simple process.

To remove and clean the tumble dry condenser firstly open the tumble dryer door and lower the condenser flap. Release the three locating tabs and pull the condenser forwards and clear. Here you can clearly see the condenser is blocked. Rinse this under a tap until all lint and debris is removed. Once the condenser is clear, refit the condenser back into its housing, relocate the locking tabs and close the flap. If you’re still experiencing problems please refer to your user handbook which can also be downloaded from the user handbook section of our website.

Remember spares can also be obtained from our website as well as care products for a range of kitchen appliances.

Recap: check and clean filter, check and clean condenser, put back into position.

This film covers how to deal with adjusting your appliance feet. Many feet look and adjust in a similar way.

How you will know there’s a problem: it varies from appliance to appliance – A dishwasher door may not open or close correctly, a fridge freezer will be unstable, and an oven may move when the door is opened. In this example for a washing machine you can clearly see your appliance is not level. To gain access to the appliance feet, firstly, remove the plinth. Then adjust the feet until the appliance is steady. You can now clearly see the washing machine is stable. If you’re still experiencing problems, please refer to your user handbook which can also be downloaded from the user handbook section on our website. Remember, spares are also available from our website as our care products for a range of kitchen appliances.

Recap: Adjust the feet of your appliance until it is steady.
